I love being creative & different. When I was growing up I was super weird. Little did I know I just thought differently. Always day dreaming, always awkward. Later in life I was diagnosed with ADHD. That explained a lot, lol. I know that with out a doubt that having ADHD helps me be creative. Think outside the box. I have learned to embrace my awkwardness and I try to empowers others to do the same. Its ok to not be "normal". You are special no matter what.
I started my photography business back in 2013. Seems like forever ago. Was I any good? Heck no, lol. I just have to have a good laugh when I see old photos come up. I really had no idea what I was doing. But with a little blood, sweat and a lot of tears, I am proud of where I am at now.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing the joy I can bring to families. Seeing how excited they are when they are looking through their gallery and choosing the photos that they love. Kids actually look forward to coming back. Some pick me flowers during the session, cuddle up to me and "help me take pictures", some let me hold and sway them when they are getting a little overstimulated. I love that so much. Kids are bold and super honest. If a child trusts me, a perfect stranger, enough to let me hold and care for them, that makes me know that I am good people.
Ok enough rambling. If you have any questions about me I am an open book. I love to talk to other adults because you know, I work from home and have 5 kids so adult conversation is limited, lol.
Hope to see you soon!
